He was admchurch on 28 Jul 1644 at Barnstable Church, Barnstable, Barnstable, MA, USA. He was admitted freeman and served as Grand Juryman that year on 5 Jun 1651 at Barnstable, Barnstable, MA, USA. He lived in 1653 at Indian village of Mistick, Marston's Mills, Barnstable, MA, USA(relocated from Goodspeed's Hill to a six acre house lot and sixteen acre garden lot, wich was bounded southerly by the Masapee's and westerly by Oyster River.). He was purchased a tract of land at the east end of Cooper's Pond in 1659 at Barnstable, Barnstable, MA, USA. He was boughtt forty additional acres in 1665 at Barnstable, MA, USA. He was conveyed all his lands and meadows at South Sea to his sons John and Ebenezer, excepting six acres, on the condition that they support him and his wife Alice during their natural lives. His daughters married the Gowin brothers and moved to Edmunton, Alberta, Canada. Maud got sick in 1906 and his wife went to take care of her and never returned to him.
The 1920 Census shows him living first with Thomas Iverson then Claude, they were taken at different times. He died shortly after the census at Claudes'.

Claude purchased 80 acres, SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 and NE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of section 25 on 25 Sep 1919 for homesteading from the government. He sold same property to Genie E. Stueben from Rockford, Iowa on 5 Jul 1928.
Claude and Mary Jane are buried together at the Richland Cemetery near Carpenter.
Tom was begged by his grandmother to visit her before she died and he did for a week. That is how he got interested in his family lineage.
He owned his own automotive repair garage in Carpenter. Later, when he lived with his son Frank in Redford, Michigan he operated an appliance repair shop out of the garage.
Claude went to Washington around 1935 to pick apples then went to Redford, Michigan in the early 50's to live with his son, Frank. Just before he died in 1953, he asked Frank to return him to South Dakota.
